China Services Crucial to China's Family Planning

Jiang Chunyun, president of the Family Planning Association of China (FPAC) and vice-chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, said on December 13 that the FPAC and affiliated organizations should further improve family planning services.

Jiang said at a FPAC conference that his association has played an important role in family planning and poverty-relief work. The success of the association can be attributed to its excellent services and the support of governments at all levels.

FPAC is one of China's largest non-government organization with more than one million affiliated organizations and 83 million members.
