Georgian soccer federation named two head coaches for the national team on Friday after they failed to make a decision between the candidates.

Georgian soccer chief Mirab Zhordania told reporters that David Kipiani and Revaz Dzodzuashvili will take over Dutchman Johan Boskamp to share the head coaching duties.

Before the new conference the federation met for three hours but was unable to decide between the two.

Boskamp, who was under fire for Georgia's disappointing Euro campaign, was dismissed following Georgia's final European qualifier against Albania on October 9.

Kipiani, 48, who coached Georgia during the 1998 World Cup qualifiers, will also stay in his job as coach of first division side Torpedo Kutaisi.

Dzodzuashvili, 54, who guided the Latvian national side during the qualifiers for Euro 2000, came back last month after a brief stint with Saudi Arabian side Al Ittihad.

The two men once formed a partnership in 1997 when Dzodzuashvili was Kipiani's assistant. But both quit in the wake of the failure to qualify for the World Cup finals.
