Business Deposit and Currency in Circulation up in China

The total balance of enterprise and individual deposits and currency in circulation in China stood at 4337 billion yuan (about 523 billion U.S. dollars) by the end of November, up 15.9 percent over the same period last year.

The balance of currency in circulation reached 1248.3 billion yuan (about 150 billion U.S. dollars), up 17 percent over the same period of 1998.

Experts said that the increase in this balance will help to speed up economic growth in a short period.
