Business Tibet's Tax Income Tops 600M Yuan

Tibet's tax income has reportedly exceeded 600 million yuan this year for the first time in its history, meeting the Ninth Five-year Plan target one year ahead of time. By the end of November, the region's tax department had collected taxes worth 647.21 million yuan, a 25 percent increase over the same period last year, including 274.88 million yuan of value added tax, fulfilling the planned target by 113 percent.
