Sci-Tech Sino-Korean Technological and Product Fair Opens

Over 100 enterprises are taking part in a four day Sino-Korean (Republic of Korea, ROK) Technological and Product Fair starting on December 1 in north China's Tianjin Municipality.

It is the first time that small and medium-sized Korean enterprises have attended exhibitions in China since the two countries established diplomatic relations in 1992. Nearly 200 Korean businessmen have come to the Fair.

Electronic products and information, automation, textiles, pharmaceuticals, and food processing products will be on display at the Fair in the 4,500 sq.m exhibition area.

Statistics show that ROK has set up 1,032 factories in Tianjin and invested a total amount of 1.96 billion US dollars in the city's industry, real estate, and catering, gaining substantial economic returns. ROK's LG microwave stoves and air conditioners have been selling well on the Chinese market. (Xinhua)
