Culture Youth Greet Macao's Return With Art Exhibit

An exhibition of calligraphy and painting opened in Beijing November 23 at the Sino-Japan Youth Exchange Center as part of a series of activities by the All-China Youth Federation (ACYF) to welcome the return of Macao to the motherland on December 20.

More than 100 art works by a number of the best-know Chinese artists will be on display during the seven-day exhibit.

Since the beginning of this year, the ACYF has organized a series of activities to welcome Macao's return. Bayin Zhaolu, ACYF's president, said that his federation will continue its efforts to promote exchanges between the youth of Macao and other parts of China, to contribute to Macao's smooth transition and sustained development.
