Education New Library of Macao University Unveiled

A new library was officially unveiled on the afternoon of November 17 at the University of Macao.

Seen from afar, the five-story library building looks like three giant books and one computer disc put together.

Boasting more than 140,000 books and over 200 types of periodicals, the library is of the largest scale in Macao. It is designed to accommodate 300,000 books in the long run.

The library has abundant computer facilities which give access to the campus network and the Internet.
