Education Nursing College Established in Macao

A nursing college was officially set up November 16 at the Macao Kiang Wu Hospital.

The Kiang Wu Nursing College of Macao grew out of a nursing school founded in 1923, which was the first non-governmental professional school set up by the local Chinese.

Over the past 76 years, the school had trained large numbers of nursing personnel for the region.

The college becomes the fourth institution of higher learning in Macao following the University of Macao, Macao Polytechnic Institute and Macao Institute of Tourism Education.
