World Saudi Crown Prince, Bangladesh PM Discuss Ties

Saudi Crown Prince and First Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Ibn Abdul-Aziz met with visiting Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on November 16 on bilateral ties and other issues of mutual concern.

The two sides discussed means of boosting ties between the two countries and the situation of Bangladesh labors in Saudi Arabia, said diplomatic sources in Riyadh.

The talks also tackled developments of the Middle East peace process and the situation in the Gulf, Pakistan and the India-Pakistan sub-continent in general, the sources said, without going into details.

Hasina is expected to meet Saudi King Fahd Ibn Abdul-Aziz later in the day, the sources told the Kuwait News Agency.

The Bangladesh premier arrived in the Saudi capital earlier Tuesday on a two-day visit mainly aimed at promoting ties with the Gulf kingdom.
