Business China to Revise Corporate and Customs Law

The 22nd Executive Meeting of the State Council discussed and approved amendments to the Corporate Law and the Customs Law on November 12.

The State Council will submit the two amendments to the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress for deliberation.

Revisions to the two laws are necessary to address the new situation and problems that have arisen from the deepening of economic reform and opening-up, according to the meeting, which was chaired by Chinese Premier Zhu Rongji.
