Sports Three WBA Titles at Stake on Holyfield-Lewis II Under Card

Sharmba Mitchell puts his WBA super lightweight title on the line and two other champions defend their belts on the undercard of rematch between Evander Holyfield and Lennox Lewis on November 13.

Mitchell (45-2, 29KOs) faces Elio Ortiz of Venezuela. Also defending titles on the undercard are WBA cruiserweight champion Fabrice Tiozzo and WBA lightweight title holder Steffano Zoff of Italy.

Mitchell is riding a 14-fight winning streak. He captured the WBA title in impressive fashion in October 1998 by scoring a unanimous decision over Khalid Rahilou in France.

Ortiz, fighting in the United States for the first time, is ranked third by the WBA in the super lightweight division. The 25-year-old Venezuelan has an 18-3 record with 14 knockouts.

In the cruiserweight title tilt, two-time champion Tiozzo looks to resume his injury-plagued career when he meets Ken Murphy of the United States.

Tiozzo has recorded knockout victories in his two title defenses, topping American Terry Ray in one round and Brazil's Ezequiel Paixao in two.

In Saturday's other title fight, the lightweight strap could change hands for the third time in 18 months when Zoff makes his initial defense against mandatory challenger Gilberto Serrano of Venzuela.
