A symposium on European automotive emission regulations was hosted by the Volkswagen Beijing office on Tuesday. At the seminar, experts on emission technology gave presentations on the status quo and development of European regulations in the field. They also talked about Volkswagen's efforts to reduce environmental pollution. China will implement the Automotive Emission Regulations from January 1, 2000.
