China Chinese Vice Premier Meets WHO Director-general

Chinese Vice Premier Li Lanqing met with Gro Harlem Brundtland, director-general of the United Nations' World Health Organization (WHO) in Beijing on November 11.

Li extended welcome to Brundtland and her party, who are here to attend the China/WHO Mental Health Awareness Raising Conference, and hoped to further promote the cooperation between China and WHO.

Zhang Wenkang, China's health minister, was among those present at the meeting.
