China Chinese Vice-President Watches Performance

�� Chinese Vice-President Hu Jintao attended a grand singing and dancing performance titled "I am from border areas" Tuesday evening in Beijing.

�� Hu is also a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and vice-chairman of the Central Military Commission (CMC).

�� The performance reflects the patriotism of the soldiers and officers of the People's Liberation Army (PLA) troops stationed in the border areas of the country.

�� Zhang Wannian, vice-chairman of the CMC, and other CMC members including Yu Yongbo, Wang Ke, Wang Ruilin, Cao Gangchuan, Guo Boxiong and Xu Caihou were also present on the occasion.
