¡¡ Chinese Vice-President Hu Jintao attended a grand singing and dancing performance titled "I am from border areas" Tuesday evening in Beijing.

¡¡ Hu is also a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and vice-chairman of the Central Military Commission (CMC).

¡¡ The performance reflects the patriotism of the soldiers and officers of the People's Liberation Army (PLA) troops stationed in the border areas of the country.

¡¡ Zhang Wannian, vice-chairman of the CMC, and other CMC members including Yu Yongbo, Wang Ke, Wang Ruilin, Cao Gangchuan, Guo Boxiong and Xu Caihou were also present on the occasion.
