¡¡ Chinese State Councillor Wu Yi, on behalf of the Chinese government, gave a banquet in honor of the representatives of the 5th Asia-Pacific Cooperative Ministers Conference (APCMC) in Beijing Tuesday evening.

¡¡ Wu said in her speech that it is the common task of the cooperatives in different countries to better embody the basic value and traditions of cooperatives and serve their members in the trend of economic globalization. She expressed the belief that the convocation of the APCMC will help discover an effective way for the sustainable development of cooperatives in the next century.

¡¡ The 5th APCMC, which opened Tuesday morning, is attended by ministers and officials from more than 20 countries in the Asia-Pacific region and Africa.
