Top 30 Chinese entrepreneurs under 30

Forbes China recently released its 2015 list of the top 30 Chinese entrepreneurs under the age of 30, the fourth annual ranking of its kind. Chinese young people are now encouraged to innovate and start new businesses, trends which have become buzzwords in China.

Of the 30 young entrepreneurs on the list, 13 are from Beijing while the rest mainly come from Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Hangzhou. They have developed businesses in online-to-offline services, gaming, wearable computing devices, intelligent products manufacturing, the Internet of Things, media, online finance and software.

Streams of 90s-generation Chinese have joined the wave of starting businesses in the Zhongguancun district of Beijing, China’s Silicon Valley, where the environment for creativity and entrepreneurship has been greatly improved.

Many start-up growth centers were fostered in China last year, and the country’s innovative cultural industry is blossoming. Premier Li Keqiang has said that entrepreneurship and innovation are the two engines for Chinese economic growth under the new normal.

Here are the top 30 Chinese entrepreneurs under 30 in 2015 by Forbes (listed in alphabetical order).

Industry:Media and Marketing

At the end of 2013, Chen Hua and her team launched an entertainment app named Jiecao Selection, which now has 10 million users. It is especially popular among young people. The app has already garnered investment from several top-level investment fund companies.
