BEIJING, Sept. 29 -- The Chinese government will take measures to expand imports, according to an executive meeting of the State Council chaired by Chinese Premier Li Keqiang on Monday.
Positive policies for imports of technology, products and services will help meet domestic demand, improve product quality, promote entrepreneurship and innovation, and upgrade economic structure, said a statement issued after the meeting.
It will also make better use of foreign exchange reserves, boost balance between international income and expenditure, and aid opening-up, it said.
