A "low carbon wedding" was held in Tangshan, north China's Hebei Province to advocate low carbon lifestyle on May 6, 2014. The bridegroom is 30-year-old Swiss man Lyon, a pottery teacher of Tangshan Industrial Vocational Technical College; the bride is Chinese girl Yang Zhihua. Lyon picked up the bride with a decorated tricycle escorted by several bicycles and the wedding was held on the bank of the ring river around the city.
