Over 50 kids participated in extra-curricular activities ahead of the Spring Festival to learn Chinese calligraphy, painting and paper cutting at Tiefosi community in east China’s Hangzhou, Jan. 20. Their foreign teacher Kevin from the US joined them and taught them to say “Happy Spring Festival” in English; the kids taught Kevin paper to make cutting and to write the Chinese character fu (福) , which means blessing or happiness to celebrate the coming Spring Festival.
