Blind-date party for civil servants in Beijing

As more and more unmarried people are too busy to search for their love, a special annual blind-date party was arranged for the civil servants in the central government and institutions at Beijing’s Dahongmen International Convention & Exhibition Center on Dec. 15, 2013. More than 3,000 single men and women attended the party. The event organized various games and activities to give single people more opportunities to know each other, and representatives from enterprises also shared more unmarried staff’s information at the event. According to the organizer, the gender ratio in the event is 7 men to 10 women. The youngest blind dater is 19 years old and the oldest is 57, and 70 percent of participates are below 30.
