FUZHOU, Nov. 22 (Xinhua) -- Five people have died and two others injured in a pileup involving five vehicles on an expressway in southeast China's Fujian Province, local authorities said.
The accident happened at around 9:15 a.m. when an out-of-control loaded trailer hit four vehicles in Fuding City along the expressway from Shenyang to Haikou, according to a spokesman with the Fuding City government.
The two injured people were carrying slight injuries and sent to hospital, the spokesman said.
Traffic has resumed on the expressway section, and the cause of the accident is being investigated.
