Zhanqiao Pier in Qingdao to receive overhaul next spring

Tourists visit the Zhanqiao Pier in Qingdao, east China's Shandong Province, Nov. 8, 2012. The Zhanqiao Pier at the southern shore of Qingdao was built in 1892. It will receive an overhaul next spring. The 440-meter-long strip pier stretches into the sea and was the first wharf of Qingdao. (Xinhua/Huang Jiexian)
