Fan Changlong underlines logistics preparation for military struggle

BEIJING, November 20 (ChinaMil) -- Fan Changlong, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and vice chairman of Central Military Commission (CMC) of the CPC, stressed at the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) meeting on logistics preparation for military struggle held on November 18, 2013 that it is imperative to push forward the military reform covering relevant system and mechanism, support system and policies in logistics field, and put more effort into improving logistics preparation for military struggle.

Zhao Keshi, member of the CMC and director of the General Logistics Department (GLD) of the PLA, chaired the meeting.

He said that further efforts should be made to speed up the building of a complete system that integrates logistical command, supporting facility, material reserve, logistical equipment and logistical forces whereby to win modern war.
