BEIJING, October 9 (ChinaMil) -- Japanese Defense Minister Itsunori Onodera recently required Japanese Ministry of Defense and Self-Defense Forces to quicken the pace of boldly amending the Guidelines for Japan-U.S. Defense Cooperation (hereinafter referred to as "the Guidelines"). Some media reported that the issue of the Diaoyu Islands may be possibly incorporated into the Guidelines.
