120-million-yuan statue torn down before completion

An unfinished statue of Soong Ching Ling was torn down in Zhengzhou, capital of Central China’s Henan province, the CNS reporter learned on July 3, 2013. The Henan Soong Ching Ling Foundation planned to build the 27-meter stone statue with an investment of 120 million yuan ($19.5 million) in August, 2011.
