'World's Largest Steamed Cake' to apply for Guinness record

A steamed cake, with diameter of 2.6 meters and weight over 500 kilograms, appeared at the 2013 Dragon Boat Festival and the 3rd Gourmet Festival in Barkol Kazak Autonomous County, Xinjiang, June 12, 2013. It took 20 woman cooks over five hours to make the so called "World's Largest Steamed Cake". Thousands of guests and visitors enjoyed the cake for free. It is reported that Barkol County is to apply for Guinness World Record for the "World's Largest Steamed Cake".
