SEA Games events to be held grandly in four main cities of Myanmar

total of 33 sports events will be held on a grand scale at the 27th SEA Games in three main cities -- Nay Pyi Taw, Yangon, Mandalay and Pathein in Myanmar in December this year, according to sports circle Thursday.

Apart from Nay Pyi Taw, Yangon will host the largest number of sports events including Kampo, weightkifting, wrestling, hockey, shooting, body-building and group B matches of men's football event at the existing sports facilities.

The sports events will take place at Youth training Center in Thuwunna, National Indoor Stadium-1, Theinbyu Gymnasium, Theinbyu Hockey Turf Pitch, North Dagon Shooting Range and Myanmar Convention Ceter Hall.

The National Indoor Stadium-1 will provide over 10,000 seats to spectators.

Wrestling will be held from Dec. 9 to 13 while Kampo event from Dec.17-21. Kampo is the first-ever event for Myanmar.

The 27th SEA Games are scheduled to take place from Dec. 11 to 22.
