China advanced to the final round of the 2013 FIVB World Grand Prix women's volleyball tournament as top finisher from the preliminaries after beating Serbia in five sets to win the Pool N competition here on Sunday.
Zhu Ting and Hui Ruoqi each scored 18 points to lift China over Serbia 25-17, 25-27, 25-20, 23-25 and 15-5 for their ninth straight win in the preliminary rounds in Macao, Hong Kong and Wuhan.
Ranking second to fifth after three weeks of preliminary action, Brazil, Serbia, United States, Italy will join China and the host Japan in the Final Round set for August 28 to September 1 in Sapporo.
