China's central bank governor said the nation's bank liquidity will not be affected by the kind of short-term turbulence that disrupted the interbank market in June.
Chinese central bank governor Zhou Xiaochuan made the remarks in an interview with China Central Television on Monday.
Zhou insisted that the monetary authority won't make great changes to its policy in the second half of the year and it would instead focus on minor tweaks and adjustments.
"Generally speaking, we would continue to implement 'prudent' monetary policies," Zhou said.
