HK CE to attend Boao Forum annual conference in Hainan

HONG KONG, April 3 (Xinhua) -- Hong Kong Chief Executive C Y Leung will visit China's Hainan on April 6 and 7 to attend the Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference 2013, the local government said Wednesday.

The theme of the conference is "Asia Seeking Development for All: Restructuring, Responsibility and Cooperation."

Upon his arrival, Leung will deliver a keynote speech at the Hong Kong SAR Dinner in the evening. He will attend the opening ceremony of the Forum in the morning on April 7.

Accompanying the Chief Executive at the conference are the Director of the Chief Executive's Office Edward Yau; the Deputy Private Secretary to the Chief Executive Linda So; and the Assistant Director (Media) Nick Au Yeung.

During Leung's absence, the Chief Secretary for Administration Carrie Lam will be Acting Chief Executive.
