HONG KONG, NOV.19 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake measuring 5.7 on the Richter scale jolted near the south coast of Honshu, Japan at 19:10:45 GMT on Monday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 332.42 km, was initially determined to be at 34.3396 degrees north latitude and 137.0733 degrees east longtitude.
