NEW DELHI, Oct. 25 -- Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's office Friday reportedly shrugged off concerns that he could be a subject of U.S. snooping, saying neither he uses a mobile phone nor has a personal email id.
"The prime minister doesn't use a mobile phone and he doesn't have an email account," a spokesperson for the 81-year-old leader was quoted as telling the media.
The remarks of the Prime Minister's office came in the wake of recent revelations by former U.S. spy Edward Snowden that America snooped on the telephonic conversations of 35 world leaders. The claims had been published in Britain's 'The Guardian' newspaper.
