CAIRO, Aug. 13 -- One person was killed and several others injured Tuesday night during clashes between the supporters and opponents of ousted Islamist president Mohamed Morsi in Cairo, spokesman of the Health ministry Mohamed Fathallah told Xinhua.

The two sides exchanged birdshots, and traffic in the area was paralyzed. Some unknown man also smashed the shopfront of a famous store owned by Islamist businessman, the State TV reported.
