Massive smoke spewed from volcano in central Mexico

The Popocatepetl Volcano delivers a column of smoke, in the locality of Santiago Xalitzintla, state of Puebla, central Mexico, on July 7, 2013. Mexico's Interior Ministry issued a yellow alert phase 3, due to the increase of the Popocatepetl's volcanic activity, in the central Mexican state of Puebla. On Sunday, the monitoring system registered 2 hours of low frequency and high amplitude tremors, with persistent emissions of a column of steam, water, gas and moderate amounts of ashes.
