Chinese Boston victim's parents to depart for U.S.

SHENYANG, April 19 (Xinhua) -- The parents of a Chinese student who died in the Boston Marathon bombing earlier this week will leave for the United States on Friday evening, said the provincial foreign affairs office in Liaoning, the student's hometown.

Lu Lingzi, a postgraduate studying at Boston University, was killed on Monday when two bombs exploded near the Boston Marathon finish line.

Lu's parents will be accompanied by two relatives, said an official with Liaoning provincial foreign affairs office.
