Movie directed by Chinese student won College Emmy award

Jin Yimeng, a Chinese student studying for a master degree in movie directing at the Florida Sate University, won the College Emmy Award presented by the Academy of Television Arts & Science by her movie "the 17th man".

Jin Yimeng, a Chinese student studying for a master degree in movie directing at the Florida Sate University, won the College Emmy Award presented by the Academy of Television Arts & Science by her movie "the 17th man". This is the first time for female student from China to win this award.

The 23-minute long psychology move is Jin's fourth film directed in her three years' study in America and is also her graduate thesis film. The movie features a writer's struggle with a vicious beauty. Some eminent American actors and models starred in the movie. The movie has now been admitted by this year's Canne Film Festival.
