Chinese Vice-Premier ends visit to Myanmar
Chinese Vice-Premier Wu Yi wound up her four-day official visit to Myanmar on Saturday and left forMaldives, the last leg of her four-nation tour to Southeast and South Asia.

During her stay in Yangon, Wu called on Chairman of the MyanmarState Peace and Development Council (SPDC) Than Shwe and held talks with Prime Minister Khin Nyunt on Sino-Myanmar bilateral ties and trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.
During the visit, a package of 21 agreements on trade and economic cooperation were signed. The main documents between the two governments included an agreement on economic and technical cooperation, a framework agreement on provision of concessional loan and a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on promotion of trade,investment and economic cooperation.
Other documents covered agreements, MOUs and contracts on cooperation in projects of communications, power plants, agricultural technology, agricultural machinery manufacturing, mineral exploration, fertilizers and railways.
At the invitation of Myanmar SPDC First Secretary Soe Win, Wu arrived here on Tuesday on an official visit to the country, bringing with her a strong group of some 40 Chinese leading entrepreneurs.
Myanmar was the third leg of Wu's four-nation tour to Southeast Asia and South Asia. She had visited Laos and Cambodia.
