"A Win-Win Asia", a motto designed by the China Institute for Reform and Development, has been adopted by the Council of the Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) as its long-standing theme.

"A Win-Win Asia" is BFA's mission and long-term goal, said an official of the council on Sunday.

"Key topics of concern may vary in different years but can only serve as sub-themes of the BFA annual conference, which takes place on April 24-25 each year," said the official.

According to the official, the theme for this year's BFA will be "A Win-Win Asia: Asia That Opens Up to the World".

With Boao, a tiny serene port in the east coast of Hainan Island, as the permanent venue, BFA is an non-official, non-profitable open international conference organization launched in 2001.

BFA is designed to advance economic exchange, coordination and cooperation among different countries and regions in Asia and to step up dialogue and economic ties between Asia and other parts ofthe world.
