All bodies from Yunnan tin mine cave-in found

The bodies of the remaining eight miners trapped in a cave-in accident in a desertedtin mine in southwest China's Yunnan Province were found by Sunday.

The bodies of the remaining eight miners trapped in a cave-in accident in a desertedtin mine in southwest China's Yunnan Province were found by Sunday.

Two bodies had been found and two miners rescued soon after thecollapse buried 12 miners in the tin mine, located in Gejiu City, on Thursday afternoon.

As much as 700 cubic meters of the mine collapsed, which had slowed the search for the remaining miners.

The farmers, led by a person named Luo Kaisheng, had illegally entered the abandoned mine to search for tin ore, local police said.

Luo, who has been rescued, has been detained on charges of illegal mining.
