After several speeches, representatives from the American, Araband Czech communities started a protest march towards the US embassy. Near the embassy they were joined by a group of about 50 supporters from the Communist Youth Union and the Initiative for Social Forum who came from the Marianske namesti.

Some of the supporters were dressed in black to express their condolence on the victims of the war. Near St. Wenceslas statue, the demonstrators created a circle around the symbolic "spiral of violence." Five women staged a short scene to mark the anniversaryof the Iraq war.
