Pakistani Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali Tuesday said the Kashmir dispute remains the core issue between India and Pakistan.

The prime minister made the remarks while talking to local media at an opening ceremony of a company in southern major city of Hyderabad, the Associated Press of Pakistan (APP) reported.

Till the settlement of the core issue of Kashmir, said Jamali, the dialogue process between the two arch-rivals "cannot prove conclusive in essence."

The two South Asian nations have fought three wars, two of which were over the disputed Kashmir region.

In January this year, the two leaderships made a decision to open the dialogue process in a bid to resolve all disputes betweenthe two sides.
