Sharon postpones meeting with Palestinian PM

Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon on Sunday decided to postpone a meeting with his Palestinian counterpart Ahmed Qurei originally scheduled on Tuesday, Israel Radio reported.

Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon on Sunday decided to postpone a meeting with his Palestinian counterpart Ahmed Qurei originally scheduled on Tuesday, Israel Radio reported.

According to the report, Sharon also ordered the cancellation ofall meetings with the Palestinians, including a scheduled meeting between his bureau chief Dov Weisglass and his Palestinian counterpart Hassan Abu Libdeh.

Sharon's decision came in the wake of a double suicide bombing that killed at least nine people in the seaport of Ashdod on Sunday.
