Chinese premier's remarks on HK greatly appreciated
The Chief Executive's Office of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) expressed thanks for Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao's remarks on Hong Kong issues made at a press conference in Beijing earlier Sunday.

A spokesman for the Chief Executive's Office said the HKSAR thanks a lot to the care and support of the central government.
He added that the HKSAR has been greatly inspired by Wen Jiabao's remarks that the central government will support any moves that are conducive to Hong Kong's prosperity, stability and mutual development of the Chinese mainland and Hong Kong.
The spokesman said the HKSAR also appreciates the central government's support for HK's planned issue of government bonds.
The spokesman said Chief Executive Tung Chee Hwa has said good news are expected to be published one after another in tourism, finance, coordination of infrastructure projects, aviation right, duty free products and the service sector.
He said the Hong Kong government and people will firmly implement the "One Country, Two Systems" principle and further promote the prosperity and stability of Hong Kong.
