Chinese women's team enters final at table tennis worlds

Chinese women's team narrowly beat their Japanese counterpart 3-2 at the second stage of the 47th World Table Tennis Team Championship.

Chinese women's team narrowly beat their Japanese counterpart 3-2 at the second stage of the 47th World Table Tennis Team Championship on March 4 Beijing Time, entering the final. Hong Kong, China beat South Korea with the same scores.

Wang Nan won the first and fifth sets and Zhang Yining the second.

However Japanese team fought back fiercely in the third and fourth set, defeating Chinese veteran Li Ju and world No. 1 Zhang Yining.

Japan will vie with Hong Kong, China for the other seat in the final.


Li Ju lost the 3rd set




Zhang Yining lost the 4th set




Wang Nan won the 1st and 5th sets
