Blast in India-controlled Kashmir leaves at least 14 injured

At least 14 people, including three women, were injured Monday afternoon when militants explodeda grenade near a hospital in Srinagar,the capital of the India-controlled Kashmir.

At least 14 people, including three women, were injured Monday afternoon when militants explodeda grenade near a hospital in Srinagar,the capital of the India-controlled Kashmir.

Militants hurled a grenade at a security patrol in Wazirbagh area near Lal Ded hospital around 2:45 p.m. (local time), the Press Trust of India reported.

No security soldiers were injured as the grenade missed the intended target and exploded on the road, the report said.

All the injured have been shifted to a hospital. Condition of three of them are stated to be serious.
