A State Council team investigating an explosion that killed 37 miners in northeast China's Heilongjiang Province is expected to announce its conclusions soon, says a local government source.
A State Council team investigating an explosion that killed 37 miners in northeast China's Heilongjiang Province is expected to announce its conclusions soon, says a local government source.
Members of the team have gathered abundant information in connection with the blast that occurred about 300 meters below theground at 6:10 a.m. on Feb. 23 at Baixing coal mine in Jixi, in Heilongjiang Province.
Wang Shijun, the owner of the mine, and three other senior mineofficials have been detained on charges of dereliction of duty.
