China women's soccer names squad for warm-ups in Europe

China women's soccer head coach Zhang Haitao released a 20-member roster Saturday for the scheduled warm-ups in Europe after three-week training behind closed doors.

China women's soccer head coach Zhang Haitao released a 20-member roster Saturday for the scheduled warm-ups in Europe after three-week training behind closed doors.

Seven players attended the training camp were singled out, including Gu Ying of Beijing, Zhong Jinyu from Guangdong, Jiangsu's Ning Zhenyun, Zhang Mei and Su Chaozhen of Sichun, Shandong's Gao Yingying and Li Yimin from Bayi.

But the roster was not a final one for Olympic qualifying matches, said Zhang.

The team, who will participate in the Algarve Cup started March11 in Portugal, plans to return to Beijing tomorrow and fly to Germany on Monday for an international friendly against the reigning World Cup champion.

Goalkeepers: Han Wenxia (Dalian), Xiao Zhen (Sichuan)

Defenders: Ren Liping (Beijing), Li Jie (Beijing), Fan Yunjie (Henan), Wang Kun (Hebei), Jin Xiaomei (Shandong), Liu Yali (Hebei),Wang Liping (Hebei)

Midfielders: Liu Huana (Shaanxi), Pu Wei (Shanghai), Zhang Ying(Shanghai), Bi Yan (Dalian), Duan Fangfang (Henan), Qu Feifei (Bayi), Zhang Ouying (Hebei)

Forwards: Bai Lili (Shanghai), Ji Ting (Shanghai), Teng Wei (Beijing), Han Duan (Dalian)
