Senior US official says six-party talks 'very successful'

The just-concluded second round ofthe six-party talks on the Korean nuclear issue was "very successful", said a senior official of the United States here in Beijing.

The just-concluded second round ofthe six-party talks on the Korean nuclear issue was "very successful", said a senior official of the United States here in Beijing.

The official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said China was not only a "participant", but also a "facilitator", and has done an "exceptional job."
