The six-party talks ended the second plenary session at Diaoyutai State Guesthouse Thursday afternoon, a Chinese official with the six-party talks press office confirmed.

Liu Jianchao, member of the Chinese delegation at the talks and deputy director-general of the Chinese Foreign Ministry Information Department, is expected to give a press briefing later Thursday.

The Democratic People's Republic of Korea and the United States delegations reportedly had a one-on-one meeting again amidst the ongoing six-party talks Thursday.

However, a spokesperson with the US embassy in China refused to give official confirmation about the meeting.
