The second round of the six-party talks on the Korean Peninsula nuclear issue underway in
Beijing
attracts high attention from the media at home and abroad. As learned there are over 600 Chinese and foreign journalists involved in the reports of the talks. The press office, where the latest agenda of the six-party talks will be released, at the Diaoyutai Hotel next to the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse has been in operation. Personages at the office will answer relevant questions raised by reporters and press conferences by the Chinese side will be held here.

Reporters in the wind
The second round of the six-party talks on the Korea Peninsula nuclear issue in the limelight began at 9 am at Diaoyutai Hotel in Beijing Feb. 25, a windy morning. Many reporters queued waiting for the delegations as early as at 8 o'clock.
Change of guards at Diaoyutai Guesthouse
As early as about 8:20 am, 40 minutes ahead of the six-party talks, guards of the Diaoyutai Gesthouse changed in preparation of the arrival of the delegations of the six sides.
